I HATE BROKEN NEW MEDIA

My name is Cody Frost. I studied mechanical engineering. I minored in philosophy. I'm currently an MPS candidate at NYU's Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP)

Whenever I walk around and see a piece of broken new media art, I think, wow, I wish they had asked me how I felt before they made it. We could have done it better, more reliable.

In my personal practice, I like creating systems with simple inputs and complex, chaotic, physical outputs. Stuff like this includes Kinetic Randomness Generator and my other piece, Kinetic Randomness Generator .5, Slime Form Generator, and American Dream.

I cad, mesh model in blender, addative manufacturing engineer, do c++, physical computing, interaction design, hit the cnc, solder, neopixels, motors, pumps, and spend a lot of time thinking about how to make all my shit NOT BREAK.
