The MetroCard was cutting edge technology, it was contemporary with its time, we can use it to review all this culture, so many things that it meant and meanings it carried, now its history.

Narrative Groupings

MetroCard signage from the MTA explaining the card and its usage. Another group shows special MetroCards. Another group shows the promotional campigns that the metrocard carried for the mta.

Content

Old signs. A promotional character in the form of the Cardvark. A video talking about the metrocard and its benifits. Lots of big punchy graphic design on the wall.

Artifacts

Old MetroCards of different promotional themes, from the MTA or from culture. A metrocard dispensing machine.

Interactions

Sitting and watching the video. Reading the text and looking at the MetroCards.
